The Institute for Psychoanalytic Studies (IPS),
a Provisional Institute and Society of the International Psychoanalytical Association Apr. 27, 2008; 1 - 4 pm Inkblots and Play Therapy: Windows to Ego Functioning Using
an array of projective assessment techniques, including the Rorschach,
this presentation will focus on how to assess a child's level of
ego functioning, including affect regulation, reality testing, coping
resources, defenses, stress tolerance, and interpersonal
functioning. Ideal for clinicians who do psychological testing
and assessment, as well as for those working with children who
want to refer for psychological evaluations when there are unanswered
questions about diagnosis and treatment planning. Fee:
